Here at Howard Park we work extensively to support a number of children with a range of additional needs. We pride ourselves on the hard work and commitment we show to all the children in our care to ensure that they achieve their full potential. We work collectively with children, parents and outside agencies to help support all our children with additional needs to achieve the best that they can.
In school we are able to offer a variety of support, first and foremost through quality teaching in the classroom where teachers will adapt their teaching to suit the needs of individuals. We then have a team of staff who are trained and knowledgeable on how best to support your child.
If you have any concerns regarding your child the first step is to always speak to your child’s class teacher. If it is felt appropriate then conversations may involve the SENCo – Mrs McPherson. School will then help support you and your child to maximise their learning potential.
