Our Homework Policy is based on DfE and LEA guidelines. Parents are encouraged to take an interest and assist with reading practice, multiplication tables, learning of spellings, music practice and the other essential skills listed. In addition we find children are motivated by parents helping with the development at home, of interests or projects stimulated by classroom topics.
The following indicates the homework that your child will receive during the current academic year. All homework will be returned to you, marked, in either a homework folder or A4/A5 book. All pupils are expected to attempt homework tasks. If, for any reason, you are unable to complete homework please indicate this. Remember, homework should be enjoyed – this year we have indicated a total approximate weekly time limit for your child’s homework, try not to exceed these times, whether the homework is complete or not!
